About Me
I am a Photographer, Filmmaker, and passionate science communicator, specializing in capturing the essence of scientific expeditions and research. Through the powerful mediums of photography and film, I aim to make science accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. Over the years, my work has taken me to all three cryospheric polar regions—Arctic, Antarctic, and the Himalayas—placing me among the select few documentary filmmakers documenting each of these unique and extreme environments.
My recent film, The Climate Challenge, received the Best Science Film award at both the International Science Film Festival of India and the 10th National Science Film Festival of India. Additionally, it earned multiple accolades for technical excellence and won the National Climate Change: Adaptation & Mitigation category at the 11th CMS Vatavaran International Film Festival & Forum on Environment and Wildlife.
Beyond the polar regions, I’ve documented projects of national significance, including creating the official teaser for ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 mission and covering the Koyna Deep Bore Drilling Project. My work has been published in prominent outlets such as National Geographic Traveler, Sky & Telescope, Smart Photography, and Better India, among others.
I am also deeply committed to raising awareness about climate change and promoting science through visual storytelling. I regularly engage with schools, colleges, and public forums across India, inspiring a new generation to connect with science through the art of filmmaking and photography.
